January 9th 2015:
Hello everyone!
We have completed a milestone as the Steele family! We've made one full year of "stepping out in faith", answering God's call upon our lives with obedience, and "going out" with His Gospel message, my music, and my merry little band of pixies.
Just a few things come to mind as I reflect on this past year. First off, answering the call and saying "yes Lord", is the easy part. Excitement, anticipation, and an intrepid resolve were the first emotions that swept over me. Yet as resources dwindle, and the proverbial candle begins to wane and burn out, it all comes down to absolute "TRUST" in Jesus. And it's no accident, that's how He likes it! Absolute trust. That's the crema of the espresso, or the heart of the matter. 2014 was a year marked with extreme growth for us. Much like taking muscle building pills, and then pumping iron; only spiritually we were eating the Word, pumping out prayer, and trimming the spiritual fat we had accumulated over the previous years! But, God has been faithful to preserve us from the start, and our gracious Father has provided all out needs, according to His riches and glory.
As we enter 2015, and begin to look down this road, Laura and I have a renewed resolve, fresh passion, and a more lean approach to the throne of grace. Our face is set like a flint on the prize ahead, the glory that's set before us, which is Jesus!
Thank you to EVERYONE who supported us both financially and prayerfully this last year, because it all comes from His throne and returns to His throne. We love you!
"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:19-21 ESV

About Us
THE STEELE FAMILY ETHOS
We are the Steele family, and we consist of 2 adults and 2 children.
Patrick and Laura Steele, and our daughters, Penelope Grace and Beatrice Love.
God has called out our family to be "Musicianaries" (Musician/Missionary).
With my passion for music and our collective desire to reach the lost, God has put his finger on us to go out and be used for His good pleasure. From a broad view, we hope to travel from town to town, where ever God leads us, and share His Gospel with folks, by means of music, teaching, preaching, helping and yielding to however He wants to pour us out! The music that I do will hopefully be a useful tool in Christ's hands to reach the lost within and outside of "the church". Our ultimate desire is to win souls, and to witness true revival withing the individuals who call themselves Christians. The Bride of Christ has been coddled and fattened up, far too long, and it's time we as the church begin to behave like a bride to be!
