Got Life?
Have you given your life to Jesus Christ? If not, then I plead with you and want you to know that the Bible says that God loves you just as you are yet doesn't want you to remain lost and without Hope. That is why John 3:16 is so important..."for God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son that whosoever should believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life..." You see...He died for us and paid the price for us in order to give us entry into Heaven because nothing we can ever do can qualify us to get there on our own.
Jesus Christ came and was born of a virgin, He lived on earth for approximately 33 years, He was tortured and nailed to a cross, He died and was buried, but then, on the 3rd day, He conquered death and rose from the grave in order to fulfill God's plan of redemption for you and for me! Going to Heaven does not depend on how good you are...Romans says that "no on is good" and that "no one can be justified by fulfilling the law"(by being good) (Romans 3:9-20) So, your deeds will never be good enough to get you into heaven and your sins can only be forgiven if you acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life and begin living NOT for yourself, but for Him. I am not just telling you to pray a simple prayer, but to sincerely pray a simple but real prayer to accept His free gift of salvation and express your desire to allow God to call the shots in your life from now on! The past is the past and even though God does care about your past...He cares more about what you do right now as you are reading this!!
So what will you do today with the free gift of His son Jesus Christ? Please give Him your heart today and start a new life that only Jesus Christ can give you.
Read the following verses taken from the Bible:
Romans 10:8-13
"But what does it say? 'The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,' that is the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. As Scripture says, 'Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.' For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"
Jesus Christ is coming soon and desires for everyone to be saved, but the sad truth is not everyone will accept Him as Lord and Savior of their life.
Please call on Him today...before it's too late!
